Well, it seems we may have jumped the gun a little. During the ad for the game that aired during No Mercy, Matt Hardy was briefly shown standing behind a television set with his brother Jeff on the screen. It was a very quick cameo so you may have missed it, but Matt made sure those who did were made aware of it by tweeting a screenshot of his and his brother's appearance shortly after.

The Hardy Boyz are certainly no strangers to being featured in WWE video games, appearing on releases as far back as the year It's obviously been a while since they last graced a game though, and if they are going to be added to the roster of WWE 2K18, it will be the first time they have done so since 2K took over the WWE gaming franchise from THQ.

It's hard to imagine that Matt and Jeff Hardy won't be included in the game now that they have been prominently featured in a commercial for it. With only a few weeks until its release, however, it's unlikely that the veteran tag team will have made the final cut. The most likely scenario is that The Hardy Boyz will be an added extra and that in the months that follow WWE 2K18's release you will be able to download them as additional content.

Yea you get the broken jeff hardy to. Wish they were available on launch. Wish they were available at launch like Day 1 DLC hopefully they don't make us wait to long. I'm predicting it will probably be December. Scott Woods Now - why is it that 2k give us the same boring multiples of Sting and all the others with 2 3 4 or more versions of themselves but I doubt it's very unlikely we will get several versions of the Hardy's going back through their history of WWE etc and even less likely we will get their ream-up with Gangrel or as The Brood.

Also as exciting as it is to have them - it would be a waste of a DLC pack if it's just the 2 of them with no extra characters etc.

Scott Woods I would love - versions of Matt and Jeff for sure. But I doubt it. Would also love versions of E and C.
